COURSE OVERVIEW:
The WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines offers a thorough exploration of the principal wines across the globe, providing insight into their economic relevance. It builds on the skills developed in WSET® Level 2 in Wines, expanding on the detailed understanding of global wine regions, varieties, and production methods. Graduates of this course will be able to expertly describe and analyze wines, applying this knowledge in professional settings.
Through this program, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting the style, quality, and price of still, sparkling, and fortified wines. Tasting skills will be honed using the WSET® Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT), enabling students to evaluate wines based on their style, quality, and maturity. This advanced knowledge allows graduates to confidently advise clients, select wines with precision, and competently respond to customer inquiries.
The international recognition of this qualification also opens doors for graduates to engage in global business within the wine industry.
